My Virtual Office Explanation

Creating my virtual office:

I started out placing my desk in the corner so that I can see my entire office.  My computer is on my desk so that I have a space to work separate from the rest of my office.  The tv is on the far wall, which can be seen from my desk and the chaise lounge.  I set this up in case a student needed to lay down, decompress, etc.  I have the lower glass table with the two big single chairs near my bookshelf.  I like the atmosphere the bookshelf adds to my office and I would use the single chairs to sit down to talk to students and parents.  I may need more chairs at some point, so I can always roll over the chairs on wheels.  I want to help my students and parents feel more at home so that they feel comfortable talking to me.  This is also why I have the bookcase near my "living room" setup, along with a plant on the table and one on the bookshelf.  Lastly, I have the artwork facing my "living room" so my guests can see it from where I would like them to sit.  I would also place artwork behind their head incase they choose the opposite seat, however there is no virtual wall there.  I have the whiteboard across from the "living room" with a chair so that I can have children work at it, or, I can write notes and read them from my desk, or I can pull over the other chairs so students can sit and I can stand by the board.
